Description:

Position Purpose:

The Clinic Radiographer Technologist will provide patient care by providing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the Provider and/or Radiologist.

What you Will Do:

  • Completes all diagnostic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains quality assurance procedures and all records.
  • Evaluates radiographs for quality and acceptability and determines corrective action if necessary.
  • Utilizes Radiology Information System (Radnet) for radiology orders.
  • Reviews and manipulates images using the CR System (if applicable) and PACS Web.
  • Monitors radiology area for safety and utilizes safe radiation practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Shall be credentialed in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

  • Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.
