Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

Corner Bakery is looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead and inspire our team to deliver Best in Class customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and ensure top-notch food quality and service. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure consistent performance and a positive work environment.

• Drive a customer-centric culture by ensuring every guest receives outstanding service throughout their visit.

• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and portion control to ensure food is served with the utmost quality.

• Oversee kitchen safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.

• Open and close the restaurant, including managing start-up and shut-down procedures for all equipment and processes.

• Handle inventory management, including placing food orders, verifying deliveries, and managing food cost controls during peak hours.

• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll support, daily sales reporting, and shift documentation.

• Continuously monitor restaurant operations and implement strategies for efficiency, profitability, and team development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.

• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in a fast casual or full-service restaurant setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with POS systems.

• Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.

• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
