What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide scheduled, pre-arranged transportation services for children in your community

• Use the HopSkipDrive driver app to manage ride assignments, routing, and communication

• Ensure each trip is completed with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism

• Foster a supportive and respectful environment for young riders and their families

Key Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive safely and obey all traffic laws

• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and HopSkipDrive support staff

• Maintain a clean, well-functioning vehicle that meets all safety standards

• Be punctual, patient, and dependable for every ride

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of caregiving experience, including 2 years with children

• Minimum 23 years of age

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years of licensed driving history

• Own or lease a 4-door vehicle that is 13 years old or newer (10 years in some cities)

• A clean driving record with no major violations

• Must pass a detailed multi-agency background check, including fingerprinting
